I began painting in oil in my teens but later on discovered a mixed media of acrylics, ink, collage and transfer gave greater scope to my work.  I often use a layering technique of varnish, ink and acrylic.  I prefer vivid and warm luminous colors and sometimes imbed found objects for greater dimension in my pieces.

I am fond of “talking” in my work.  Sometimes this appears as “Stream of Consciousness” meanderings, but often my piece is created around a specific message.

I avoid a particular style and I do not reproduce my pieces.  My body of work is original and one of a kind.
